Dear Blog, Happy Birthday!

It has been one whole year since I started this blog and even though I would have liked to have gotten more accomplished I am happy to say I was just hired as a part time Photographer at a Studio close to my home. I look forward to the years to come and I thank everyone for their support so far.

Grounds for Sculpture

I went to Grounds for Sculpture for the first time today. I spent hours just walking around, there really was a lot to take in. I suggest you check it out, it was very beautiful. More information about Grounds for Sculpture can be found here: http://www.groundsforsculpture.org/

Baltimore, MD

My Husband and I spent our Anniversary weekend in Baltimore a few blocks away from the Inner Harbor. We hit some traffic on the way but it was worth it. We had a great time down by the water and we really enjoyed Fells Point which was a short drive from the hotel.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday! Stay safe and remember that Freedom is not free.

Deep Cut Gardens

Today I went to Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown, NJ. It’s a cute park with some interesting features including a Japanese Garden, Koi Pond & a Rose Garden. More information on Deep Cut Gardens can be found here: http://www.monmouthcountyparks.com/page.asp?agency=130&Id=2518

A day at the park

It was a gorgeous sunny afternoon so we took the dogs on a walk to a local park. The little boys there were absolutely adorable. One of them kicked the ball they were playing with into the lake, and they all sat and stared as it floated away.

Philadelphia

Today my Husband took me to Philadelphia for my birthday. I wish we would have seen more, but it was a spur of the moment and didn’t have anything planned. It was my first trip to Philadelphia and I absolutely fell in love. Its a gorgoues city!

Maximus

I just couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures of Maximus before bed with all his toys. He makes my heart smile. Such a grumpy lil boy!

Lancaster, PA

My Husband and I took a trip to Lancaster, PA for the weekend. Amish country is so gorgeous, miles and miles of farm land. Something you never get to see where we are from. We stayed in Intercourse, PA at the Beacon Hill Campground. We definatly plan on visiting again soon, great place with friendly people.
